Finished project
Headcount
Technically, this wasn't part of the project but we added some muscle to the family bench, so it's time to introduce Beau Francis Benstein, a future squire of the manor.
Exterior view
This overlooks the back patio, garden, back yard and pasture. The area has been graded and seeded and should grow in to a nice field Monica will eagerly mow every week - just like she promised.
This view from the back pasture shows the cottage, shed, parking area and future home to the bocci court and the oasis bbq bar and grill.
Interior view
The open floor plan gives the cottage plenty of space for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying the great company of friends and family.
RECENT WORK
PICTURES OF EXTERIOR & INTERIOR (Nov 30, 2019)
Here are the latest pictures from the builder showing the outside of the cottage and parts of the interior. The plasterer is getting delayed by poor weather, so the outside is taking longer than expected. The electrician is finishing up the portion of his work and the plumber will begin to start his work next week (in December). The ceilings go up about the same time.

KITCHEN DESIGN (Nov 8, 2019)

COTTAGE AND SHED UPDATE (Oct 23, 2019)
Here's a view taken from behind the cottage. The Ox Mountains are on the horizon. The timbers are in place for the roof and the slates will be completed by the end of October. The windows get installed next, followed by plastering the external walls. The shed is completed and you can notice the ground is being built up and leveled. We'll let that settle over the winter and finish the landscaping in the Spring.
RECREATION AREA
This picture faces north. We will have picnic table seating to the right of the shed and the fire pit, bocci court and horse shoe pit will be in the cleared area beyond the shed. All the lads working on the project are excited because they have no idea what bocci is.
VIEW FACING SOUTH
This picture was taken from above the shed. The area behind the cottage will have a patio and a great view of the hill rising up and to the left of the picture. Sorry, the other field belongs to a neighbor.
